House hunting.
I never want it to be a big deal. We need a roof, four walls, and a location near work.
People live in all kinds of homes….igloos, castles, tents, high rises…holes, nests…
It doesn’t matter.
And it does matter.
This is the fourth house we’ve bought and the first time we’ve had more than three or four to look at.
Which leads me to this truth: It’s harder to choose when you actually have choices.
While we have always lived in older homes with square footage in the ‘teens, our move to the newish (ca. 1970s) suburbs means a little more space and dozens of options.
I’m praying we will make a wise decision, but I’m mostly praying that the love and light which make a home will be evident to many at our new address.
