God is amazing, right?

But sometimes the stuff in front of us and around us is so all-consuming, we feel like God is a pleasant, but slightly anti-climactic add-on.  The mayo on our sandwich. The salt on our grits.

Knowing the God of the universe seems like a perk, like a club membership:

If that is your situation right now, what would change that?  Learning something about yourself?  Learning something about God? Being around people who are gripped by His glory?

Praying that during this season our hearts will be overwhelmed by God’s true nature.  His creativity. His justice. His beauty.  His I’m-better-than-jelly-ness.
